The kinds of SEN that are provided for:

At  Neville’s Cross Primary School and Nursery, we have experience of supporting children and young people with a wide range of need including:

Communication and interaction   

  • Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

Cognition and learning   

  • Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
  • Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) Including dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia
  • General Learning Difficulties (GLD)

Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties

  • ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)

The school provides data on the levels and types of need to the Local Authority. This is collected through the school census.
